At 7.30 A.M. on 20th October, at the Lecture Hall of the east campus, Anqing Foreign Language School’s Senior High Department convened the commendation meeting in regard to the first monthly examination in Grade 10. The meeting was hosted by Director Cao Siqing and attended by all students& head teachers from Grade 10.
In the first place, Director Cao Siqing summarized the first monthly exam. He stressed that College Entrance Examination was just like a marathon match. Students were supposed to have the courage and confidence to enroll for it. During the match, our students should adapt to the senior high learning style, living habits as well as living methods as early as possible. Additionally, they should get a clear understanding of themselves and find out the reasons behind failure to seek solutions for improvement. Besides, with teachers’ help, students were bound to realize the curve surpass and enter college.
In the second place, Director Cao Siqing announced the student list of the top 30 students in Grade 10 in addition to 10 students who progressed noticeably faster. Also, Director Cao Siqing issued certificates of merit for them. More remarkably, Zhu Zhenchuan from Class 5, Grade 10 ranked 88th at the moment, who surpassed 388 students, considering that he only ranked 426th when he first attended Anqing Foreign Language School.
To sum up, we should focus on the current situation and open our eyes to the future. In the meantime, we firmly believe that students in Anqing Foreign Language School shall create outstanding performances from now on.
